I began doula work in 1998. Since then, I have had the privilege of attending many women and their families during the beautiful time of childbirth. I have experience with VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean), natural birth, home birth and hospital birth, including 5 years as a staff doula at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center. As a certified lactation consultant, I’m also available for breastfeeding guidance and education. Women have the strength & wisdom to birth the best way for themselves & their baby. I look forward to helping you have your best possible birth. |

I am a certified birth doula and Bradley Method® Childbirth Educator practicing since 2004. I believe that birth is a normal and natural process that women’s bodies were created to do. With my knowledgeable and compassionate care, I desire to empower families by nurturing the strengths each person brings to the birth while being a resource for informational, physical & emotional support. I offer my doula support to walk alongside you through this powerfully transforming adventure of pregnancy and childbirth! I make my home in Boulder with my husband and two children. |

I have been nurturing women and families with loving touch, support and education as a birth doula since 2002 and as a licensed massage therapist specializing in maternity massage and infant massage education since 1992. I am the Lead Massage Therapist at Longmont United Hospital's BirthPlace. It is an honor to witness each mother and father discovering their strength and wisdom through the miracle of birthing their child. My passion is helping each family create a sacred birth with respect for each family's unique choices. I live in Longmont with my husband, two sons, and a menagerie of pets. |

My story begins with my best friend asking me to attend her birth in 1985…5 girlfriends later (and after my own child was in school) I knew I had found my life’s work. There is no greater pleasure than to be of service to a woman giving birth. Your birth is like a piece of artwork that unfolds in the present moment becoming the masterpiece that you and your baby design. My purpose is to support your choices and offer my help wherever it is needed.
I am the mother of an incredible 7 year-old daughter and I have lived in the Boulder area for 10 years. I was a paramedic in the 80’s, a Vet-Tech in the 90’s, and I have worked in women’s health for the past 5 years in a supportive and nurturing role. |
