Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator
I became a doula following the birth of my first son in 2005. My goal is to comfort and nurture the family,
to provide a calm, supportive environment in what can be a challenging time. As a doula, I believe my role is to
mirror the beauty of the woman and remind her of her power, energy, and spirit. I currently perform roles as both a
birth and postpartum doula, in addition to teaching childbirth education classes. I also serve on the Board of
Directors for DONA International. I live in Longmont with my husband, two sons and various pets. I am an avid knitter,
seamstress and gardener.
