From a very young age, I have had a passion for working with women during pregnancy,
labor, and birth. My dream became reality in 1996 when I became certified as a massage
therapist, specializing in prenatal, labor, infant, and postpartum massage. My table
has belly and breast cut outs so mommies can lie face down and enjoy a wonderful massage!
Then in 1998, I became a DONA certified birth doula. I enjoy providing doula services
for families at home, birth center, and hospital births. Some of the different types
of birth I have attended include: natural vaginal, medicated, epidural, planned and
unplanned Cesarean, multiples, breech, VBAC, HBAC, water birth, and adoptions! My
philosophy is very simple: I meet you where you are at and include your support
person(s) significantly in the labor and birth experience. I love working as part of
team. I also find birth photography very rewarding, and am humbled to be a part of
helping you treasure the events in your life.
